8 days left before my departure
Today I will start my blog. I created it to inform anyone who is interested about my trip to Haiti this year and other trips who will certainly follow.
In one week and one day will already be the day of my departure. Firstly I´m going to fly to New York, stay there for one night, then take the plane to Port-au-Prince where Natacha and Audel, members of Haiti Care, are going to pick me up. I will live with them for one month and try to take good photos to make a story about the poverty and the injustice there.
Why I´m doing that? Because I want to combine my dedication to photography with social commitment. In other words: I want to help with my photographs. I want to show to those people here, who complain day-to-day about their hard lives, that there are other places in the world where the people have nothing and unfairness is part of every day´s live.
Special thanks to the members of the charity organisation Haiti Care, Michael and Barbara Kaasch, Natacha and Audel who are supporting me in my project.

@Ced je ne vas pas faire des photos avec Gael, parce qu´il va etre accompagné par qqun qui va faire un video, ils vont un project ensemble et il doit s´occuper de lui. Mais je suis sur que je vais quand meme avoir une chance d´aller en Haiti et j´assure de remmener des bonnes photos avec moi quand je return en Belgique!
