My Haiti project won at the Canon Profifoto Foerderpreis one of the five prizes and that will support me with material to continue my project.

Philip Jones Griffiths: “We all have a choice in life. You can cover a hell of a lot wide and shallow or you can cover a smal number of things narrow and deep. Both are valid. But those who decide to do narrow and deep produce something that ultimately lasts.”

Its a long time that I didnt write anymore. I dont find the time (and motivation) to do so. That’s why I will keep it short.
I’m in London since the end of December and assist Philip Jones Griffith. It’s great, I learn so much from him. Not only about photography but also about life. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and I’m very thankful to be here and to spend every day with him for the last 5 weeks. I will stay here for another 3 weeks before I come back to Belgium to finish my project for the Red Cross. My plans for afterwards is to come back to London (end of March) go to see my friend Funny in Dublin and than come back to Belgium again, because at the 6th of April I will organize a big event in my hometown Eupen, Belgium to raise money for Haiti. Everybody is welcome to come. I will make a projection of my images and give a talk. I will soon make another announcement on this site and give more details.
