Haiti…
I’m writing this from the airport in New York. In one hour my flight to Haiti will head off and 4 hours later I’ll arrive in Port-au-Prince.
It was a great week in New York, I spent a lot of time together with Liz.. so wonderful to see her again. Patrick, the guy who let me stay on his couch (found him through www.couchsurfing.com) became a good friend too. He is a wonderful cook and cooked me the greatest breakfast ever! He is an amazing person and I will be happy to see him again soon.
Now I will spend one month in Haiti where I will continue my documentation and as well invest the money that I raised into useful things for the poor people.
On the 18th of June I will fly from Haiti to Miami to spend one week there for another photography project. After that week I either go back to Haiti (when I feel that I haven’t done all things that I wanted to) or go together with Liz to Cuba (to make a comparison between Cuba and Haiti) or go back to New York.. I’ll see…
A few hours later
I arrived in Haiti. It’s hot and it’s great! I arrived at the airport and Natacha with a friend, Elie (my guide from last year) and Barthol (I met him at my exhibition in Luxembourg) came to welcome me. The first thing that Audel and charline said when I arrived at Natachas and Audels home was: hey, you put on some weight! (Thank you 
). They mean it as a compliment, I hate it hehe
I am going out now to shoot the celebration day of the Haitian flag.
